Get ready for some wins. Welcome to the Be It Till You See It podcast where we talk about taking messy action, knowing that perfect is boring. I'm Lesley Logan, Pilates instructor and fitness business coach. I've trained thousands of people around the world and the number one thing I see stopping people from achieving anything is self-doubt. My friends, action brings clarity and it's the antidote to fear. Each week, my guest will bring bold, executable, intrinsic and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and Be It Till You See It. It's a practice, not a perfect. Let's get started.
Lesley Logan 0:48
Hey, Be It babe. How are you? Happy middle of October. I am in Cambodia, and I am. I think I'm about to start my retreat. I just know that I am. Yes, I'm starting my retreat in a couple of days. Oh my lanta, my goodness! This month is wild. I've started it in Vegas, then the next week I was in Sacramento. Now I'm in Cambodia. I'll be in Cambodia for the next FYF, and then I will be home. And I'm only home for a couple of weeks before it's China and it's India and it's just a lot to be grateful for.
Lesley Logan 1:20
But first, happy Fuck Yeah Friday! This is where we get to be humans together. We get to celebrate what you are doing, what's inspired you, what's going on in your life, and a little win of mine and a little mantra. And then you get on your way. I hope you're loving the solo episodes we've been doing. If there's any topics you want me to be hitting or some guests that you would like me to be reaching out to, please go to the beitpod.com/questions. It's a catch-all for your wins, your suggestions, and things like that. So yeah. So, anyways, before I get into my win, I get to take a moment to share what I've had with what I'm a little bit tired of, and I wanted to say I'm recording this after all the fucking most amazing people are dying. All the most amazing people are fucking dying, and the shitty people are not, or we're being told they're not dead, but I know they're dead, and it's just really annoying. It's really annoying, and I'm just why are all the good ones going? Why does it always happen like that? You know, so I'm just sad about it because I mean that's beautiful. As I got to relive some of the things about those people, I'm going to hear more of their stories. I didn't know. I'm talking about specifically about Dolly Parton. I listened to really great episode about her whole life, and of course, I knew a lot of things. I didn't know everything. And what a generous, amazing woman she could have been a billionaire, and she did not die that way. She died as someone who just generously gave without questions, and I just love that so fucking much. And I just, you know, I have a sticker in my office that says, "What would Dolly do? And I just really think that we need to all be thinking like that. But anyway, other good people are dying too, and you know. So I'm just mad because I wish assholes were.
Lesley Logan 2:52
Anyways, my win, since you listened to me vent, I restarted my morning pages. I have been up down, up down with my morning pages, and I really truly love them. If you haven't read the Artist Way, it's really great. My friend Claire and I decided to read Julia Cameron's second book, and she's got these creative walks, and she has tools you need morning pages. Oh, the morning pages are so hard for me. The reason I'm tormented with them is because I live somewhere where it's very climatic. In the summers, you just want to get it's not going to get any cooler the later you wait to go on your walk, so you just keep going out earlier and earlier, and so I do them in the winter, in the fall, in the spring, but not the summer, and you know that's just frustrating.
Lesley Logan 3:26
So I found a way to do my morning pages every morning on my walks, and I'm so proud of myself, and I'm really loving it because all the anxiety that I wake up with is gone within two blocks of my walk, and I can just get it out in my head, and then if I have action steps, I can see that. But it's not about being action-oriented; it's just dusting the curtains, you know, hitting the rug, getting things out of the, getting things off my mind, so I can focus on what's so important. So I'm really, really excited about that, and it's been really, really wonderful. And I would just say, in this the year of our Lord, 2026. Find a way to do your morning pages. Find a way to get stuff off your head as early as possible in your life.
Lesley Logan 4:06
Okay, now a win of yours, @pilatesandrea, "Had an amazing Teacher Lab yesterday, and my weekly schedule is consistently full." Well, that's because you're amazing, @pilatesandrea. You are amazing, and your stickers are also so fucking wonderful. I love them so much, and they were such a huge hit on the tour. So thank you for being so generous with them, and thank you for sharing this amazing win. I mean, your schedule is full, because the impact you have on people is just so beautiful. So I'm so grateful to call you a friend. So that's it. Send your wins in, my loves, to beitpod.com/questions. You can hear your win when you need it.
Lesley Logan 4:40
And here is your mantra for the weekend. I am worthy of infinite compassion. I am worthy of infinite compassion. Be It, babe, you are worthy of infinite compassion. Until next time, go Be It Till You See It.
