It's Fuck Yeah Friday.

Lesley Logan 0:01

Fuck yeah.

Lesley Logan 0:02

Get ready for some wins. Welcome to the Be It Till You See It podcast where we talk about taking messy action, knowing that perfect is boring. I'm Lesley Logan, Pilates instructor and fitness business coach. I've trained thousands of people around the world and the number one thing I see stopping people from achieving anything is self-doubt. My friends, action brings clarity and it's the antidote to fear. Each week, my guest will bring bold, executable, intrinsic and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and Be It Till You See It. It's a practice, not a perfect. Let's get started.

Lesley Logan 0:46

Hi, Be It babe. Welcome to your first FYF of November. We got a lot of Fridays in November, which is kind of cool. It means you have a lot of weekends, right? And I want to also say these are all being recorded before any big event happened, so if they seem like they don't follow the timeline, it's because they're being recorded in the past about the future. And I'll get into that because it's one of my wins. But let's get into your wins, and that's what we do here.

Lesley Logan 1:11

So our first win is from Olivia Walton. She's one of our eLevate graduates in round two, and I just adore her. And also, congratulations on your wedding, Olivia. But she said, Susan and I had a great mini session together. End of my day teaching, beginning of her day teaching, who knew North Carolina and New Zealand time zones would work out so lovely. Thanks eLevate for bringing us together. So I love this win because it's a win about two people making time for themselves and each other, who, by the way, only know each other because they're both grads of elevate. Susan was in round one, Olivia's in round two. So there's so much in this that I love, because I hear all the time people saying, I just want community, I want support, but it requires you to participate in community and support, right? And also not being bothered when who you try to create community with doesn't vibe back, because it's not personal. They're in their own thing, and then moving forward, because you will find your people and so way to go, Olivia and Susan. You are just so freaking awesome. I'm so happy about that.

Lesley Logan 2:09

Melissa Capitano is our next win. She is an eLevate grad as well. She's from round three. She's also one of our agency members, and she wrote yesterday, I taught a private session to a new client, just four privates so far. I started her with roll downs on the Cadillac. She could not keep her heels against the poles. I cued it, but she wasn't able. I said, no big deal. Let's do some other exercise and come back to it. We did footwork exercise in the C-Shaper, Elephant, Short Box on the Ladder Barrel, Leg Springs, and many more at the end. I said, okay, let's finish how we started. She was able to keep her heels on the poles. She said, how does it happen? I wanted to say it's because I'm amazing in training and I'm now an amazing instructor who can see what your body needs and can pick exercises that teach it. But I said something like you did other exercises that showed your body how to make the connections it needs either way, I think it's a win. So Melissa, I am so obsessed that your eLevate training has come in so handy, and that you're using it, you clearly are using it, and that you, you know, asked what you wanted, you didn't get it. Instead of harping on it, you gave the client what their body needed. And then I also love that you went back to see what happened. How cool is that? And I love that she got to see that too. The ownership in her body is as much the win as it is you picking the exercise she needs. So yes, you had an amazing training, but also you were implementing that training in your own way, and that is what I think is the most beautiful win. So thank you for sharing that with us.

Lesley Logan 3:30

All right, my win. One of the things that I've mentioned as a win before is just the team has been really good at helping me set myself up for success when it comes to these busy seasons. And so as you're hearing this, I've been home in the States for almost two full weeks. But it's not like I'm just here, you know, we're actually getting ready for the next thing and the next thing. And so my team and I were able to really think things through so many months ago to go, okay, what has to happen November? If, when would that normally happen in October? How can we make that happen in the summer? And so here I'm sitting with you, and I am able to support all of the different parts of the business that I'm in charge of without going, oh my god, oh my god. Because one of the things that drives me crazy is, when you're on vacation, worried about when you get back from vacation, how it's going to be. I've really been trying to practice being present. I'm an Aquarius guys. It's so freaking hard. It's really, really hard. So that has been tremendous. Has been a huge, huge win. It's just all the efforting in the past that's allowed me to be present in this present.

Lesley Logan 4:35

The other win I want to just share is that this entire year, I've been percolating on some major changes, and the win is that I'm not worried about those changes anymore. Doesn't mean that they're going to go smooth. Doesn't mean I've even implemented them, not even sure when I'm going to do that, but just getting to the point where I can percolate and think and even try out and think out different ideas without worry and fear, without the upper limiting problem that I have. That's huge. That is a win, and I want to share that with you, because I don't think we give ourselves enough credit for when we kind of not grow up, but we don't let the things that normally make us scared when that no longer scares us like we should celebrate, holy moly, because you'd work to get there right? The work I had to do was acknowledge I am worrying about things I cannot control instead of focusing on the things that I can. And so by not having that worry, I've been able to really play out some of my wonders. What would have me do this? What if we do it like this? What if we make this change? How does that stay in alignment? So it's a little esoteric of a win. It's not something super specific. I can't share it with you yet, but it'll eventually come out. And I just want you to know that it took me a long time to get here. I definitely had some tears the first time I thought about making these changes and lost sleep over it. And now I'm at a place where I'm like, these will make things better for everybody. And how can we make the changes in a way that honors everybody in the best way and honors our values? So to be there and ditch the upper limiting, oh, I just feel, feel good about it. If you're one about upper limiting as make sure you check out Episode 400 with Gay Hendricks and get his book The Big Leap.

All right. Time for your mantra because that's how we wrap up these episodes. So here it is. There is strength in the quiet. There is vulnerability in being loud. There is strength in the quiet. There is vulnerability in being loud. There is strength in the quiet. There is vulnerability in being loud. Oh, my dears. I hope that mantra gets you through this weekend, and I know there's a lot of uncertainty going on in the world, make sure you focus on what you can control. All right, it's very important. It's very important that you do that. Have an amazing day and until next time, Be It Till You See It.
