746. Perfection Is the Simple Fear of Not Being Enough
Are you constantly working against your own goals, or is your brain just trying to keep you safe? In this episode of Be It Till You See It, Lesley Logan and Brad Crowell break down their top takeaways from high-performance coach Brad Bizjack. They unpack why perfectionism is a deeply embedded identity rather than a bad habit, challenge the myth of self-sabotage, and reveal what burnout is actually a sign of. Lesley and Brad share how swapping your daily to-do list for result-driven targets and practicing daily self-celebration can rewire your subconscious identity to unlock alignment-driven success.

Perfection is simply the fear that I'm not enough. But if you're priming yourself to celebrate all the things that you are doing and you and who you are as a person, you're gonna realize you're fucking enough.
Lesley Logan 0:11
Welcome to the Be It Till You See It podcast where we talk about taking messy action, knowing that perfect is boring. I'm Lesley Logan, Pilates instructor and fitness business coach. I've trained thousands of people around the world and the number one thing I see stopping people from achieving anything is self-doubt. My friends, action brings clarity and it's the antidote to fear. Each week, my guest will bring bold, executable, intrinsic and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and Be It Till You See It. It's a practice, not a perfect. Let's get started.
Lesley Logan 0:54
Welcome back to the Be It Till You See It interview recap of my co-host in life, Brad, and I are going to dig into the elevating convo I have with Brad Bizjack. I mean, you just think that there are other words for Brad. He is on a different whole vibe.
Brad Crowell 1:07
I was gonna say plane, so maybe elevating does work.
Lesley Logan 1:10
Elevating, he's in a different sphere. If you haven't yet listened to that interview, you will want to listen to it after you listen to this for sure, or you're gonna want to join his amazing program. You can sign up right now for free this week because I do it every year. It's just so fun. His, it's just his, it's just amazing.
Lesley Logan 1:28
So today is, we'll get into that later, but today is October 15th, and it's the International Day of Rural Women. International Day of Rural Women champions the essential contributions of women in agriculture and rural development every October 15th. This day recognizes their tireless work in food security, economic stability, and environmental sustainability. Join global efforts to empower rural women, advocate for their rights, and support initiatives that foster growth and well-being. It focuses on advocacy and support rather than commercial deals. Organizations like UN Women, the Food Agriculture Organization (FAO), and Heifer?
Brad Crowell 2:05
Heifer.
Lesley Logan 2:06
Heifer. No way.
Brad Crowell 2:07
Yeah.
Lesley Logan 2:08
No way. It's Heifer International.
Brad Crowell 2:10
It is. I donate to them.
Lesley Logan 2:12
You do?
Brad Crowell 2:13
Yeah, have been for a very long time.
Lesley Logan 2:15
Okay. Well, how did you find out about them?
Brad Crowell 2:18
You know, I started talking to some people.
Lesley Logan 2:19
All right. Often launched fundraising campaigns and awareness drives. So contact any one of them if you want to support women like this. That's really cool. You know, you'd be surprised how rural women everywhere are making this entire universe go around. The clothes you wear, the food you eat, the things you buy, they are often, you know, like there's just so much that is being in there. They need our support. We do go to Cambodia a lot, and one of the things that women there in the rural area needs, if they're not educated, they don't really have resources for if they're in a terrible situation. So it's really important that you, if you have time, and if you don't have time, if you have money, and if you don't have money, if you have friends, that you find something, a cause like this that can motivate you to share it in a way that is accessible to you, because this is how we this is how we make the world a better place.
Lesley Logan 3:12
All right, so upLift. Oh my God, you guys! If you're on the wait list for students, you know where we are starting our first cohorts for upLift, my Pilates teacher training program for new teachers. If you're not, you probably don't know, and I can't tell you now because we are in the future. We are in the past, and we can't tell you in this moment.
Lesley Logan 3:35
We're in both, the future and the past.
Lesley Logan 3:37
We are.
Brad Crowell 3:38
Wrap your head around that.
Lesley Logan 3:39
We are in the future in this moment for ourselves. But while you listen to this, we are in the past. And so, if you or someone you know wants to become a Pilates instructor, then I want you to go to xxll.co/uws, and we will let you know where our cohorts are and where you can do it, even in person. There's a few people who are doing remote learning options, and so I'm just so excited about this program, aren't you, Brad? I'm excited.
Brad Crowell 4:01
I think it's going to change Pilates.
Lesley Logan 4:03
We're changing the industry. I think so.
Brad Crowell 4:05
Yeah.
Lesley Logan 4:06
I think so. I think so. There was just on Beyond Your Reformer. She just put a compilation together of all these people saying what is wrong with teacher training programs and upLift literally solves all those problems, just inherently.
Brad Crowell 4:17
We, I would love to see that. I know that'd be really cool.
Lesley Logan 4:20
I know. I should give that to you.
Brad Crowell 4:21
Yeah, you should give that to me.
Lesley Logan 4:23
Let's make a note. Let's make a note. We won't know what that says in a second. Okay.
Brad Crowell 4:28
All good. if you're here.
Lesley Logan 4:29
And you're new.
Brad Crowell 4:30
And you're new
Lesley Logan 4:31
or not
Brad Crowell 4:31
or not or you're old.
Lesley Logan 4:34
Well, don't call our listeners old.
Brad Crowell 4:35
Don't forget to check out our Pilates flashcards. Go over to OPC.me/flashcards, where every single purchase supports the Nevada SPCA.
Lesley Logan 4:44
I was just there.
Brad Crowell 4:45
Yeah.
Lesley Logan 4:46
I dropped off some jewelry for their jewelry show. I convinced them to let me go upstairs and organize all of the jewelry for the next show with all the free time I have. But I just, I know that it's, I just want to help you make more money, and I just want to merchandise it better. I'm so excited. So if you're in Las Vegas in November, there is a jewelry show, and we're talking everything is like selling for $3 and $10 because they won't let me price it, but it will be merchandised by me. Okay, if you want our posters, you can go pick them up at OPC.me/posters. They print where you are, so the shipping is not terrible. Next month, I am in China, you guys. I actually have, I think I have a link for you. Hold on.
Brad Crowell 5:25
We have a link for the China Summit?
Lesley Logan 5:27
I just saw who I'm teaching with. Yes, we do have a link. We do have a link. Hold on. I was just on it, and then my phone reset. Here we go. cpisummit.com. Yes, you can launch it. You can read it in English or Mandarin. I just saw the teachers who are there, and it's me
Brad Crowell 5:46
Pulse it up
Lesley Logan 5:46
and a few friends. So come, it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm going to have a I'm going to have a great time. It's my first time in China. Well, not my first time in China, but my first time teaching in China.
Brad Crowell 5:56
Yeah.
Lesley Logan 5:56
Yeah. So come, and then I'm going to be in Goa. You definitely want to do that. So if you are looking for an excuse to get a travel write-off this year, then go to xxll.co/pot to pick your spot for Goa. It is a limited-spot event because you actually go for the whole weekend. It's like a resort in Goa. Have you looked at pictures in Goa? Even if you're not going to come, look up Goa, India, because you're going to be so jealous of everyone who is going with me. And then our winter tour is announced.
Brad Crowell 6:30
Yes, it's the 15th. So it's been up for two weeks, and y'all tickets are going fast.
Lesley Logan 6:35
Yes, and we're in the past and future at the same time, as you already heard. So I can't tell you where we're going yet. No, we cannot.
Brad Crowell 6:43
But here's what we can tell you: we can tell you that we're going from Las Vegas to Boston, to Miami.
Lesley Logan 6:49
Yeah.
Brad Crowell 6:49
And back to LV.
Lesley Logan 6:51
So if you're somewhere on that route,
Brad Crowell 6:52
Stuck on LA.
Lesley Logan 6:54
I don't know. Yeah, so go.
Brad Crowell 6:55
So we've been six years.
Lesley Logan 6:56
We've been six years. Go to opc.me/tour to see where we're actually going because we are currently in Cambodia and we have no idea. That's right.
Brad Crowell 7:03
We are currently in Cambodia right now because we're hosting our annual retreat there, and we want you to join us next year. There are limited number of seats, y'all. So go to get yourself on the wait list. Go to crowsnestreets.com crowsnestretreats.com. Add yourself to the wait list and come join us next year. We will be opening the doors for that in January, so make sure you're on the list. Do not wait; it will sell out. Last year it sold out in three weeks. This year, it's going to sell out faster.
Lesley Logan 7:30
Not only does it sell out in three weeks. But zero people gave up their spots, so there wasn't anyone from the wait-wait list. So you you just want to be ready. It's going to be (inaudible).
Brad Crowell 7:39
We often have people bump or drop, and this time no, everyone is coming and very excited about that. It's going to be an epic trip. Actually, it's happening right now. It is an epic trip.
Lesley Logan 7:49
It's an epic trip. We're in it. We're having the best time.
Brad Crowell 7:52
We are in it. Let's do this.
Lesley Logan 7:54
All right, I'm going to get into our charity of the week. So, who are we talking? Who are we highlighting today?
Brad Crowell 7:59
Okay, the 10th is World Mental Health Day today, I know is the 15th, but the 10th was World Mental Health Day, and the charity we wanted to highlight for this week is Mental Health America. MHA is the oldest mental health nonprofit in the country. They've been at this since 1909.
Lesley Logan 8:14
What we had mental health support in 1909.
Brad Crowell 8:18
1909.
Lesley Logan 8:18
That's when you guys they were calling women hysterical as a disease. Okay. Well, I'm grateful for the person who was so progressive in 1909.
Brad Crowell 8:26
Well, here's what we love about MHA. Their whole approach is built around the idea that you shouldn't have to wait until you're in crisis to pay attention to your mental health. They call it before stage four. The same way you wouldn't wait until cancer is stage four to go to the doctor. You shouldn't wait until your mental health is at a breaking point to do something about it. They offer free online screening tools at their website where you can take a confidential self-assessment for things such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and more. Millions of people use these every single year. They also run over 140 affiliates across the country providing direct support, education, and advocacy.
Lesley Logan 9:03
This is incredible.
Brad Crowell 9:04
It's pretty amazing. I was reading this, thinking this is amazing. They've earned a four-star Charity Navigator rating, and they've been accredited by the BBB Wise Giving Alliance. If you want to check it, check in on yourself or someone you care about, go to mhanational.org.
Lesley Logan 9:22
This would have been really helpful a couple years ago with a family member.
Brad Crowell 9:25
Yeah, well, it was available. We just didn't know, so that's why we're doing exactly this, highlighting these charities. Go to mhanational.org and take a free screening yourself. It only takes a few minutes, and it might be the most important few minutes you spend this week.
Lesley Logan 9:39
That is why I kind of like this little segment that we do. I'm sure people wonder why we do it, but the reality is, is that I will never forget one of our first guests we ever had on this podcast. She was such a charity advocate. She was someone who donated a lot of her time on different things, and she had the money, so she was part of a lot of them. And I just, but what if you don't have the money? But well, you have time, and if you don't have time, you have friends. And I have a hobby with a charity because I needed one, and it's working out really, really well. But a lot of charities they do, I guess they need money, but they also just need awareness
Brad Crowell 10:11
yeah
Lesley Logan 10:11
to keep going because it could be that you have you might not have the time or the money to support them, but you might have a friend who needs them, and then you or you might have a friend who is sitting on a inheritance they don't know what to do with it. So you know, I think this is really never know, never know. I mean, hey, we're two dinks. You know, where's my money going? So whatever I can't take with me has got to go somewhere. So I hope that this helps you.
Brad Crowell 10:34
Just dinking around.
Lesley Logan 10:35
I hope that this either helps you with advocacy that you're wanting to do, or at least supporting your friends who might need something. Because I have an episode coming up with a psychologist, and it is very difficult to get help when you need it. I had no idea about this. This is really cool. Yeah, MHA. Because also, are you? I was talking to one of my girlfriends today. She's, "Lesley, I couldn't decide if it was if I was having anxiety, if I was depressed, or if it was perimenopause." This quiz could have helped.
Brad Crowell 11:02
This quiz could have helped.
Lesley Logan 11:03
Anyways, all right. Well, I love this. I hope you guys like it too. If you have any recommendations of charities you'd like us to highlight, please send it to beitpod.com/questions, or you can text us to 310-905-5534.
Brad Crowell 11:14
Yeah, and I just wanted to take a quick second before we go on. If the show gives you something every single week, here's how you can give back. Come join us at onlinepilatesclasses.com. It's what funds this podcast, and it's Pilates for everybody, mat through full apparatus with weekly form feedback from real teachers. So you're never practicing alone.
Lesley Logan 11:35

Brad Crowell 11:35
Go to onlinepilatesclasses.com.
Lesley Logan 11:37
We're pretty amazing.
Brad Crowell 11:38
Yeah. Come join the community. It's gonna be awesome. All right, so let's jump into it. Let's talk about Mr. Brad Bizjack.
Lesley Logan 11:46
We love Brad.
Brad Crowell 11:48
Every time I listen to him speak, I'm just floored. And not only is he very eloquent in what he says, actually, his eloquence allows him to talk about challenging topics in such a kind way that it amazes me.
Lesley Logan 12:04
In a way that also challenges you, because sometimes he has said some things around. Oh, but he says it in a way you're like, yes.
Brad Crowell 12:11
Yeah.
Lesley Logan 12:11
But you know, when people say, "I don't know, what (inaudible). You're right. And then he tells an amazing story. I do know. I probably do know. So I just, I'm obsessed. I feel like he's an annual guest.
Brad Crowell 12:21
Every time I listen, I'm amazed. So Brad Bizjack is a personal development expert and certified high-performance coach dedicated to helping high achievers unlock deep alignment-driven success. Rejecting the classic trap of have-do-be psychology, Brad teaches a powerful be-do-have model that reprograms the limiting beliefs and toxic thought patterns, operating in the blind spots of our own minds. Having trained over 80,000 people globally, 80,000, he specializes in
Lesley Logan 12:54
He's in states with less people.
Brad Crowell 12:57
Yeah, he specializes in transforming high-level ethereal mindset concepts into strategic daily practices, right? And I think that's, that's part of it too. The eloquence is he makes it seem so accessible instead of this, "Well, just feel better about yourself" crap. He actually makes it tangible and relatable.
Lesley Logan 13:15
I couldn't agree more. And his be-do-have is literally be it till you see it.
Brad Crowell 13:20
Yeah.
Lesley Logan 13:20
In a better way.
Brad Crowell 13:21
He did say that it's something he learned, it wasn't something he came up with, but it is so aligned with the Be It Pod.
Lesley Logan 13:28
Yeah, well, and I will be, I will apologize, everyone. We were supposed to talk about this last year, but I got distracted about something else, and then we ran out of time. So I was, can you come back on and do the be-do-have because it's so good, and he's also amazing. Because if you are an OPC member or an Agency member or an eLevate member, then you got invited to a special free webinar that we had last week with Brad. So just saying. You got that freebie. Here's the deal, we talk about perfectionism, and he said.
Brad Crowell 13:57
Well, before before you move on.
Lesley Logan 13:59
What?
Brad Crowell 13:59
I just want to throw out there he is having a free event next week.
Lesley Logan 14:03
Yes, he only does it once a year.
Brad Crowell 14:05
Lesley and I mentioned it at the beginning of this podcast. It's called Rewired, and it's five day mindset challenge that he hosts every year in October. So if you go to xxll.co/bizjack, xxll.co/bizjack, b-i-z-j-a-c-k, you can sign up, and we really encourage you to do it. Lesley and I have done it multiple years running now.
Lesley Logan 14:25
Oh yeah, we love it. Also, because when we're back from Cambodia, and so Brad is on Hong Kong time, so he's up with me, and I'm here. Put this in your ear.
Brad Crowell 14:33
This Brad is on Hong Kong.
Lesley Logan 14:34
Yeah, this Brad is on Hong Kong time, and that Brad is on his regular time. But anyways, it's, you will be lightened up, and there are replays. So, but he doesn't. It's, it's a container, and he only does it once a year. That's it. He, I don't know why he doesn't do it more, but he doesn't have time, and he is. This is it. So you're gonna do it, and it's free.
Brad Crowell 14:51
Hop on it.
Lesley Logan 14:51
Okay. So he said, and I love this. He said, "Perfection is just a way of being." He explained that perfectionism isn't just a bad habit or a temporary behavior. It's embedded deeply into our subconscious identity. When we try to fix it by changing our outward behavior without changing who we are being, the change fails, and then we falsely call it self-sabotage. And he said self-sabotage is physically impossible because your brain's sole job is to survive, so it cannot do that. It cannot fuck you up because the robots have not taken over us yet, and it protects you from threats and pain. And therefore, your brain would never intentionally destroy the very host it is designed to protect. So I really love this because we do have a lot of perfectionists who listen to this podcast. We have recovering perfectionists on this podcast, and I know from many of the people that we get to talk to on our tours and in our memberships, they think that they are causing themselves to sabotage something they want to do. But really, it is just because they haven't changed the inside; they've only changed the outside. It's like you dyed your hair and expected yourself to be different, but you're just, you just have different color hair now. You have to actually do something internally to change.
Brad Crowell 16:07
I did think it was interesting that he said, you know, his controversial claim that self-sabotage is impossible because obviously we've heard so much about self-sabotage and sometimes I feel like I've even seen it in action, but the idea that the brain is there to protect us and it will not let us do something.
Lesley Logan 16:28
Can you think about a time where you say you sabotaged yourself? Because I can think of times where I thought I was sabotaging myself, and if I look back in all honesty, I did those things because I didn't feel deserving of what, if I hadn't done that, what my life would have been like, or what I would have gained. I do think people self-sabotage in air quotes because he doesn't believe it's real. Where they self-sabotage is because they actually do not feel deserving of the life that they're trying to create, or they feel scared. It's on a subconscious thing, or they're afraid they're going to lose friends and things like that. I really do think that people, it's a, it's more self-conscious, subconscious, that they do it, they make those decisions because they're, they don't want to lose what they know.
Brad Crowell 17:16
Yeah, and somewhere in there, that losing what they, what they know is safer, quote unquote, than what they don't know.
Lesley Logan 17:22
Well, the devil you know is safer than the devil you don't know, to you.
Brad Crowell 17:26
Yeah, but it just is an interesting idea, and I'm, you know, I don't know enough psychology to really understand it. But I, I guess the logic is there.
Lesley Logan 17:35
The logic, well, the logic is there, and I do think though that.
Brad Crowell 17:38
Unless it's an intentional sacrifice, but that's not really what we're doing in self-sabotage mode.
Lesley Logan 17:44
I also think that when people self-sabotage, it's because they actually never set themselves up for success in the first place. So they then just do the other thing. You know, most people I hate talking about diets, but diets is an easy place, right? People, we've had Jenny Shatzel on, and she her first episode, she talks about how on Monday she and her mom and her sister would go on a diet, and then by Saturday they binge out all weekend. And then on Monday, well, they're doing that because they actually were depleting themselves of actual food. They didn't diet in a way that was sustainable in the first place. So of course, the only thing they have to do is sabotage themselves because their body and brain are hungry, but if they actually were able to set themselves up for success by choosing to not do drastic dieting, but intentional, thoughtful eating, meal prepping, talking with professionals who could understand what they're going through, if they have a food addiction, what's going on, you know, then it's harder to self-sabotage. You can't. We have friends who are doing that right now, who the sabotage is not available to them, you know. So because they were prepped for it and they've had a long time, so I just think that a lot of times people sabotage themselves because they didn't prepare for the changes they wanted to make at all. They just did the outside change.
Brad Crowell 18:54
Yeah, I just want to go back to the first thing you said. The perfectionism is just a way of being. It was interesting because you know you had mentioned to him, "Oh yes, you know, I'm a recovering perfectionist, and he said, "These are the stories that we tell ourselves. He said you didn't come out of the womb a perfectionist, but somewhere.
Lesley Logan 19:11
No, I was two weeks late.
Brad Crowell 19:13
That's funny, but somewhere along the the line here, you decided I am a perfectionist, right? And he said he said something so fucking powerful, and I can't remember exactly what it was. So you got to go back and listen. But he said if you go back and you trace perfectionism back, it's a safety mechanism to most likely something that happened in your childhood.
Lesley Logan 19:36
Oh, 1000% I can tell you guys, but my family listens to this podcast, so we'll just do that on another day.
Brad Crowell 19:42
Well, but then we've decided that the safe route of doing, you know, of being was to be perfect, whatever the perfect definition is for you. And then now today, decades later, we're still, you know, attributing. Not only are we, we're still hanging on to that decision that we made as a child-that perfect is safe, right? And so we try to control everything and all this stuff. And he said it's just a way of being. It's not, it doesn't have to be.
Lesley Logan 20:11
Yeah.
Brad Crowell 20:12
And I thought that was really interesting. But he also reframes burnout as one of the most beautiful things that could ever happen in your life, and that made me laugh out loud. And I was like, "Wow, that's so true."
Lesley Logan 20:22
I love that. I agree. Every time I've had a burnout, it's like a rock bottom, and I've always come out of it on the other side better. But go ahead.
Brad Crowell 20:29
Yeah, I mean, it doesn't have to be a rock bottom in like self-destruction mode, but burnout is you know you just come to the conclusion you just can't do it this way anymore because you're fried, whatever it might be, and he said this is an indication that your soul is finally getting involved. And he clarified that burnout has absolutely nothing to do with the amount of hours that you work. I mean, think about it. Some people work like 80 hours a week. How can they do that and not be burned out? He said, instead, what is actually is happening is it's a it's a clear indication that you're not listening to what your heart really needs, because the amount of hours that you're spending out of alignment is too much.
Lesley Logan 21:09
Yeah, no, I couldn't agree more. I just had a catch up call with a girlfriend. You've been so busy, and I was, oh, I know it's a busy season. I feel really great though, and she's you do, and I'm like, oh yeah, I'm not in burnout because one, I knew the season was going to be busy. I planned for it. I took things off my plate. I haven't been a great friend to all of my friends, but also I haven't been a bad one either. It's because I'm I'm excited about what I'm doing, so the workload isn't the problem, right? So I think that's where it's really important. I think a lot of people attribute the number of hours they commit to something that could lead to burnout, and it's really no, it's the alignment that are you in alignment with what you want to be doing, and if you're not, then yeah, you're gonna fucking burn out.
Brad Crowell 21:50
It's gonna burn out. It's gonna burn out. Well, anyway, like I said, he's badass. You should definitely go back and listen.
Lesley Logan 21:56
Listen, and if you don't want to do that, or you don't have the time, and you're already sold, go do his thing.
Brad Crowell 22:02
Yeah, starts next week. I think. Yeah, next week. So stick around. We'll be right back because not only that, he had something very controversial for his Be It Action Items.
Lesley Logan 22:11
I think he likes that.
Brad Crowell 22:13
We will be right back.
Brad Crowell 22:15
Welcome back. Finally, let's talk about those Be It Action Items. What bold, executable, intrinsic, or targeted action items can we take away from your conversation with Mr. Brad Bizjack? He challenged us to stop making a to-do list.
Lesley Logan 22:30
I love this so much, and I haven't made a to-do list since. Have not.
Brad Crowell 22:36
I think that's amazing.
Lesley Logan 22:36
My bot will go. Here are some things to focus on today. That's right. We don't do what you do. Thank you.
Brad Crowell 22:41
Yeah, he explained that checking off urgent boxes can leave you feeling empty, whereas focusing on what is important for you to accomplish that day brings fulfillment. So rather, he advises us to switch to a daily question from "What do I need to do today? to "What result do I want from today? So that every single action that you take actually becomes targeted. What result do I want from today? Once you've identified what you are after and why, you can reverse engineer a list strategically from that outcome, as opposed to the to-do list. And here's why. This is really interesting. That is effectively project management. What he just said. What outcome do I want from today? I want blah blah blah. I want three new clients today. Okay, cool. How am I going to get three new clients? Bang bang bang. Work in reverse. As opposed to here's my to do list. What happens on the to do list? Every single thing on the to do list has the same priority level. So your dreams have the same priority level as emptying the dishwasher.
Lesley Logan 23:42
Yes, yes.
Brad Crowell 23:43
And this just doesn't work. So I I found this really it made me laugh again out loud. And he said when you look at it this way, it's giving you a strategic list that helps find the items that that you've been procrastinating on the most and executing that one thing and only that one thing.
Lesley Logan 24:02
And by the way, most of the time that you actually do the thing that you've been procrastinating on takes like seven minutes. I watch this woman.
Brad Crowell 24:11
That's insane. It's always it's just such a mental mountain. And then when you actually do it, oh, that was it.
Lesley Logan 24:16
I know Kate and Mary Swick. They've been on the podcast before. They brought up something, and Kate's yeah, I've been procrastinating on this one thing because I oh I want to clean up my closet, and I've been procrastinating, procrastinating, and finally just did it, and I just timed myself to see how long does it take me to do. She said it took her 11 minutes. Took her 11 minutes because then she got in there. Oh da da da, this goes over here, this goes over here, da da da. That's done. 11 minutes. Just I have been putting that off for more than 11 minutes of my time. I moved it more than 11 minutes of time, and I watched this other woman who does those hoarding cleanups. And people, she's you guys are really obsessed with how long it takes me, and so she's so this is how I do it. Here's a timer, and she showed us, I'm not kidding, Brad. It looks like a how are you going to get through that? And took six minutes. It took three minutes. It took two minutes, and what? But we make we build it up in our head, and you're right. We put the same, our brain puts the same urgency on dishwasher versus your dream goal. Yeah, you know. So yeah.
Brad Crowell 25:12
Pretty interesting. What about you?
Lesley Logan 25:14
Worth equals love over time, particularly the love you give yourself actively, is what he said. And the greatest act of love towards yourself is self-celebration. Hello.
Brad Crowell 25:24
Be It Action Item.
Lesley Logan 25:25
What the fuck have we been doing here every Friday? And it's soon to be on Thursdays.
Brad Crowell 25:30
Oh.
Lesley Logan 25:31
You'll hear about that probably next month. Don't worry, the Fuck Yeah isn't going anywhere. It's just moving off of a Friday. So he advised to celebrate three specific things daily. I love this. For those of you who need a rubric, here you go.
Brad Crowell 25:45
Here you go.
Lesley Logan 25:45
What actions you took today? Celebrate that. How you added value to the world? Celebrate that. And who you are as a person, and you have to celebrate that. And you guys need to be nicer to yourself. You know what? What actions I took today? I got a mammogram, and I am celebrating that because I'm going to tell you right now that was a fucking chore. Everyone in the world is involved with how long that took me to get, and how I did add value to the world. I cleaned out my jewelry closet and I gave it to the SPCA, and then I went and checked all the employees there that I know to make sure that they had all the support and love that they needed from me. And who am I as a person? Well, clearly very generous. Fuck yeah! So I think, and then you said this practice primes the subconscious to have a bias towards action and contribution. And oh my God, in your rewired program you're gonna do next week, you're gonna learn about why those things are really important towards your serve the what you want to do in this world? All of us want to have action and contribution, but we don't really know how. And so, this is priming your subconscious to have a bias towards that. And as your perception of worth increases, your tendency to go into perfection dissipates, and that is so true because perfection is simply the fear that I'm not enough. But if you're priming yourself to celebrate all the things that you are doing and who you are as a person, you're gonna realize you're fucking enough. You have the mantras on your walls. I know you have these posts. I see the things you you share. I'm enough. You're enough. We're all enough. But you don't really believe it because you're not priming your subconscious to do it. So xxll.co/bizjack to go get yourself rewired.
Brad Crowell 27:23
Prime away.
Lesley Logan 27:24
