Quick C-Shaper Pilates Routine

Hi, I’m Lesley Logan, second generation Pilates instructor and today I’m going to give you a 10-minute workout on the C-shaper, because let’s be honest: sometimes all you have is 10 minutes, and sometimes all you need is 10 minutes.

So this workout does involve the C-shaper and what is a C curve in Pilates? If you don’t have a C-shaper then I have tons of Mat classes you can take. But the C-shaper is a really cool thing and deepen your Pilates C curve . It wasn’t invented by Joseph Pilates, but it is the inverse of a Ladder Barrel. And what we can really use this for is to help us find our longest round shape. But please by all means, when in doubt, leave it out if the exercise is not right for your body, doesn’t feel right, skip it, omit it. I believe it is brave and courageous to replace what you can’t do with what you can. So let’s get started.
