What is a Pilatini® Hangout, and how did it start? In this video, Lesley Logan, co-founder of OnlinePilatesClasses.com, explains the story behind Pilatini Hangouts and why they are such a special part of the OPC community.
Lesley shares how the idea came from her early teaching experiences and her desire to recreate the connection people feel in in-person Pilates classes. A Pilatini Hangout combines a live Pilates class with a relaxed online community hangout where members can ask questions, share experiences, celebrate progress, and connect with other Pilates lovers from around the world.
She also talks about how community helps people stay consistent with their Pilates practice and supports long-term wellness. During OPC hangouts, members can discuss exercises from their practice, including foundational Pilates Mat exercises, ask for feedback, and even submit videos for guidance through the community’s feedback sessions.
In the video, Lesley also mentions Pilates Mat exercises that are part of the OPC beginner resources, including foundational Pilates Mat exercises used in the Full Body in Fifteen series, which help people build strong movement foundations for their practice.
